Insomnia, again
After Saturday’s train debacle, K and I ended up getting home at five AM on Sunday, my sleep patterns are screwed. They have never been particularly robust to be honest. Still, it means that I can lie in bed catching up on my podcasts and researching a few future projects.

Phew
Day two of my TFL bike odyssey, I made it back to the train station fine, with about twenty minutes to spare, cue me not being able to find a docking station, I had my mobile app (Boris Bikes Live by Errayane Labs) showing me the location of the nearest ones on a map. One minor fault however, it didn’t give any feedback as to my location, and it didn’t have half the street names on it either. Cue...

Android Development
I’m really looking forward to this weekend in general, and specifically to getting the time to reinstall Linux on my netbook so I can get my hands dirty with a bit of android development. I have been looking through the documentation and it looks to be a hoot. Still, watch this space I will post my first impressions next week.

Commuting (again)
So another job in London means another long commute every day, on the plus side the job is good and there seem to be plenty of challenges on the horizon. Including a complete redesign of the sites owned by the company, an iPhone app and in the meantime, loads of print design to keep me busy, this is on top of the day to day work like emailers, updates and so on. Still it’s all good and the...

Website Redesign
At the moment I am redesigning my website at www.hda1.co.uk, I am using several different open source javascript libraries to tie together several of my social media accounts and to create the look of the site. Twitter is being taken care of by jquery.twitter.css The animation is being taken care of cycle.js using a custom pager. To gain the Tumblr integration I used the method on the Tumblr...

Ahhh this is the life
I really enjoy mornings like this, a lovely lazy breakfast with my girlfriend outside my favorite cafe, followed by a stroll to the harbour by way of the Old High Street. Yes it’s sunny days like this that make me glad to live in Folkestone. Still the morning wears on and work is calling, I might post some photos later.
